1. Who I Am
I’m Dracel Rodríguez, the sole owner and operator of Her Healing Massage & Wellness Studio, based at Keizersgracht 394, Amsterdam, Netherlands (KVK number: 92081053).
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data I collect through herhealingwellness.com (the “Site”) and my studio practice, why I collect it, and what rights you have. It should be read together with my Cookie Policy.
2. What Personal Data I Collect
2.1 When You Contact Me
I don’t use online booking forms or a contact form on this Site. All bookings and communication happen through WhatsApp. When you message me, WhatsApp shares your phone number and any information you choose to send me (such as your name and preferred appointment time). WhatsApp processes this data under its own privacy policy, as it is a separate service operated by Meta.
2.2 Health-Related Information
Before a treatment, I ask about relevant health information — for example, whether you have any conditions, injuries, or contraindications (such as cancer, pregnancy, or skin conditions) that could affect your massage. This conversation happens verbally, in person, during your consultation.
I do not write this information down, store it in any file, app, or database, or keep any digital record of it. It is used only to safely plan your treatment on the day of your appointment, and it is not retained afterward.
If in the future I introduce a written intake form before appointments, I will update this Privacy Policy in advance to explain exactly what would be collected, how long it would be kept, and how you could ask me to delete it. At that time, any such notes would only be kept for as long as needed for your current or ongoing treatment, and never shared with anyone else.
2.3 Website Analytics
I use Google Analytics (via Google Tag) to understand how visitors use this Site — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors found the Site. This data is collected in anonymous or pseudonymous form and is only set after you consent through my cookie banner. See my Cookie Policy for details.
2.4 Embedded Google Maps
Some pages on this Site display an interactive Google Map showing my studio location. Google may set cookies or collect technical data when this map loads. See my Cookie Policy for details.
3. Why I Process Your Data
I process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases under the GDPR:
- To arrange and provide your massage treatment — necessary to perform our agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To safely plan your treatment based on your health information — based on your explicit consent, given verbally before each session (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR for special category health data).
- To understand and improve the Site — based on your consent to analytics cookies (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. How Long I Keep Your Data
I don’t keep a client database or written health records. Health information shared verbally is used only for your current appointment and is not retained afterward.
WhatsApp messages are kept according to my own ordinary use of WhatsApp, generally only as long as needed to arrange your appointments. I don’t export or archive these conversations into a separate system.
Analytics data collected through Google Analytics is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings, as described in my Cookie Policy.
5. Who I Share Your Data With
I don’t sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. I don’t share client data with the hotels or companies I have worked with professionally.
I use the following service providers, which may process limited technical data as described above:
- WhatsApp (Meta) — for booking communication.
- Google Analytics — for website analytics, only with your consent.
- Google Maps — for the embedded location map.
6. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data I hold about you
- Ask me to correct inaccurate data
- Ask me to delete your data
- Object to how I process your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time (for example, by changing your cookie preferences)
To exercise any of these rights, contact me using the details below. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
7. Data Security
Because I don’t maintain a client database, most of the data security risk that applies to larger businesses doesn’t apply here. Communication happens through WhatsApp’s own encrypted messaging, and I take reasonable care to keep my phone and accounts secure.
8. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly if I introduce new ways of collecting information, such as a written intake form. Please revisit this page periodically to stay informed.
